The Spirit Gateway
Unlike the Nether’s flint & steel, The Sift gateway requires an attuned resonating activator: the Spirit Core. When ignited, the portal erupts into a cyan vortex connecting the Overworld to the spirit realm.

Download the mod from Modrinth or CurseForge. Ensure your loader (Fabric or NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21+) is properly installed in your launcher.
- 2Gather Portal Frame Materials
You will need 10 to 14 Crying Obsidian or Sift Gateway Bricks (crafted using 4 Polished Deepslate and 1 Echo Shard per block).
- 3Build the Vertical Frame
Construct a standard 4x5 rectangular frame (2 blocks wide and 3 blocks tall inner opening), similar to a Nether Portal frame. Corner blocks are optional.
- 4Craft the Spirit Core Igniter
In a crafting table, combine 1 Eye of Ender, 2 Echo Shards, and 1 Amethyst Shard to craft the Spirit Core. Right-click the bottom inner frame to activate the glowing spirit vortex.

Portal Won’t Light with Flint & Steel?
You cannot ignite the Sift gateway with ordinary flint & steel. You must craft the Spirit Core (1 Ender Eye + 4 Echo Shards/Amethyst) and right-click the bottom inner frame.
Frame Dimensions Check (Strict 4x5)
The frame must be vertical, 4 blocks wide and 5 blocks high (2x3 empty inner space). Corners are optional, but the interior must be clear of water, fire, or foreign blocks.
Bedrock Edition Missing Dimensions on Mobile/Console?
When creating the world, you MUST toggle on all Experimental Features: "Holiday Creator Features", "Custom Biomes", and "Upcoming Creator Features".
Game Crash or Mod Not Showing in Java Edition?
